Nvidia, South Korea Launch National Physical AI Alliance with 260,000 GPUs

NVIDIA has partnered with South Korean venture capital firms, government entities, and major corporations to establish a comprehensive AI ecosystem aimed at advancing physical AI technologies such as robotics, drones, and autonomous vehicles. This collaboration, highlighted during NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's visit to Korea for the APEC CEO Summit 2025, includes the deployment of over 250,000 NVIDIA GPUs across sovereign AI infrastructure, national AI computing centers, and corporate AI factories built by Samsung, SK Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and NAVER Cloud. The initiative leverages Korea's strong software expertise, technical capabilities, and advanced manufacturing to position the country as a global leader in physical AI, integrating AI with real-world systems. Additionally, public-private partnerships are focusing on developing Korean-language large language models and expanding quantum computing research to further accelerate AI applications. This multi-faceted effort builds on existing programs like NVIDIA's N-UP, which has supported numerous domestic startups, and aims to foster innovation and economic growth across diverse sectors including automotive, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
