Mister Miracle Series Revealed at Annecy Festival

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have announced an adult animated 'Mister Miracle' series, based on the 2017 comic by Tom King and Mitch Gerads, with King as showrunner and executive producer. The series was officially revealed at the Annecy Animation Festival. It follows Scott Free, Mister Miracle, and his wife Big Barda as they try to maintain a life on Earth while war breaks out between Apokolips and New Genesis, and the villain Darkseid acquires the Anti-Life Equation, threatening reality and Scott's sanity. This marks DC Studios' second adult animated series after 'Creature Commandos.' Details about the cast and network platform remain unannounced, and it is still uncertain if the series will be part of the main DC Universe continuity. The adaptation is part of DC Studios’ larger strategy to adapt Tom King’s acclaimed comic stories.
