Jailen Bedford Signs With Virginia Tech, Joins Transfer Class

Virginia Tech men's basketball has added guard Jailen Bedford, a transfer from UNLV, marking their third transfer addition this offseason. Bedford averaged 10.2 points and 4.3 rebounds last season at UNLV, demonstrating strong performances down the stretch by scoring in double figures in 10 of the final 11 games. Prior to UNLV, Bedford played at Oral Roberts, where he averaged 14.6 points and 6.4 rebounds. He brings experience and versatility to the Hokies' roster, providing depth on the wing and potentially competing for a starting spot. Coach Mike Young highlighted Bedford's late-season surge and leadership as valuable assets for the upcoming season. Bedford will join fellow transfers Amani Hansberry and Izaiah Pasha on a roster that still has open spots for further additions.
