Coachella Shooting Kills Teen, Injures Two Critically

Early Saturday morning in Coachella, a shooting at a home in the 49000 block of Corte Molino resulted in one teenager dead and two others critically injured, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responding to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon found three adolescent males with apparent gunshot wounds and administered medical aid, but one victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other teens were transported to local hospitals in critical condition. The Riverside County Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, which remains active with no arrests or suspect information released so far.
