Saudi Arabia’s ambitious NEOM project, particularly its flagship 'The Line' sideways skyscraper, has encountered significant challenges including construction delays, resource constraints, and a 'comprehensive review' to reassess feasibility and project priorities. Recent aerial images reveal minimal visible progress at the site, with only a concrete floor in place and little activity, fueling skepticism about the project's pace and viability. The Line, originally planned to house 1.5 million residents, has now scaled back its target to 300,000, reflecting concerns over scope and resource allocation.
