Lane Closures Impact Multiple U.S., Canadian Routes for Infrastructure Projects

Multiple transportation projects across the U.S. are causing lane closures to facilitate maintenance and improvement work. In Elgin, Route 25 will have intermittent daytime lane closures starting August 11 for resurfacing and traffic signal modernization, with completion expected by late November. California's State Route 37 will experience lane closures on both eastbound and westbound sides in Novato to support a capital preventive maintenance project involving pavement rehabilitation and concrete work. Guam Power Authority crews will close lanes along Route 2 on Saturday to trim vegetation near power lines as part of safety maintenance. Wisconsin Rapids will see single-lane closures on the East Riverview Expressway bridge from August 4 to 6 for DOT maintenance work. Meanwhile, in Washington State, SR 203 near Carnation will have weekday single-lane closures for eight weeks starting August 4 for fish barrier removal and habitat improvement projects.
