Dancer Held Captive and Raped in Agra

A 26-year-old dancer from Ghaziabad was allegedly held hostage and raped for three days in Agra by Vinay Gupta, an event manager, and his wife. The victim was lured to Gupta's apartment under the pretense of an event on October 8, where she was served sedated tea and later found tied up. During her confinement, Gupta reportedly raped her and threatened to force her into prostitution, claiming it would make her wealthy. She managed to escape on October 11 and reported the incident at the Tajganj Police Station. Gupta and his wife were arrested following her complaint, and investigations into their alleged involvement in a prostitution racket are ongoing. Neighbors had previously complained about the couple's immoral activities, raising concerns about their conduct.
