Gabriel Withdrawn After Collision; Arsenal Await Fitness Update

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring and Bukayo Saka added a late second as Arsenal beat Olympiacos 2-0 to make it two wins from two in the Champions League. Centre-back Gabriel Magalhães was forced off after a collision with goalkeeper David Raya and was visibly in pain; Cristhian Mosquera replaced him. Mikel Arteta said the withdrawal was precautionary, that Gabriel felt a kick and should be okay given he's returning from a long-term injury, but added the defender’s availability for Saturday's Premier League trip to West Ham is still being assessed. Arsenal pointed to squad depth as they also cope with absences including Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Piero Hincapié.
