Multiple Longtime Indiana Residents Pass Away August 2025

Several notable community members have recently passed away, with services scheduled to honor their lives. Erma Louise Moncrief Maryland, age 93, will be remembered at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Hammond, Louisiana. Judy Ann Parker, 78, a longtime preschool teacher and member of East Columbus Christian Church, will have a memorial service with live streaming available. Patricia Dillman, 87, known for her involvement with the Church of Christ and her family-operated business, will be honored with a funeral service in Columbus, Indiana. Marianne Arnholt, age 94, celebrated for her dedication to her church, family, and the Republican Party, passed away after a life of community involvement and farming. Shirley L. Erdman of Columbus, Indiana, who enjoyed oil painting and family time, will be laid to rest following services at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
