Law Enforcement Seizes Multi-100kg Drug Hauls Across US, Philippines, India

Significant drug busts have taken place globally, with authorities seizing large quantities of narcotics and making arrests to combat drug trafficking. In Cape Town, South Africa, Metro Police confiscated Mandrax tablets worth R180,000 and arrested five individuals, while another suspect was caught with cocaine packets in Manenberg. Jefferson County, Alabama, experienced one of its largest busts in recent memory, with over $300,000 in drugs including cocaine, meth, crack cocaine, and marijuana seized, alongside cash and firearms, leading to the arrest of Marcus Allen Harper on drug trafficking charges. In Hopkins County, Kentucky, coordinated operations resulted in the recovery of several hundred pounds of marijuana, cocaine, meth, guns, and cash, though no arrests were reported. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency announced the seizure of illegal drugs valued at P82.79 billion over three years, including ecstasy, shabu, marijuana, and cocaine, with over 153,000 arrests and the dismantling of numerous drug dens and laboratories under President Ferdinand R. In India, Mumbai police conducted a raid on a secret drug manufacturing factory in Mysuru, seizing approximately 188 kg of MDMA worth Rs 381.9 crore and arresting multiple suspects, marking the state's largest drug haul to date.
