Police Fatally Shoot Man Wielding Bow and Arrow in Arbutus

Baltimore County police fatally shot a man armed with a bow and arrow in Arbutus after responding to reports that he was shooting at passing vehicles while wearing a ski mask. The confrontation occurred on Leeds Avenue, where two officers encountered the man and, after instructing him to drop his weapon, one officer opened fire. The man, later identified by his family as Arvel Jones Sr., died at the hospital following life-saving attempts by officers.
