Recent Ukrainian drone attacks targeted Russian regions including Kursk, Voronezh, and Odesa, causing fires, damage to residential buildings, and disruption to infrastructure. In Kursk, debris from downed drones ignited fires and damaged private homes, while in Voronezh, drone debris caused power lines to fall onto the M-4 expressway, leading to a partial closure. Russian air defenses intercepted a significant number of Ukrainian drones, with reports of 162 drones destroyed overnight. Additionally, Russia’s Kursk region was struck by multiple drones, resulting in explosions and fires near residential areas, though no casualties have been confirmed. In Odesa, Russian Shahed drones attacked residential zones, damaging apartments and civilian infrastructure. These attacks coincided with ongoing peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, highlighting continued hostilities despite diplomatic efforts.
