Resurrection Christian claims first girls basketball championship

Resurrection Christian School made history by winning its inaugural girls basketball state championship on Saturday, defeating Denver Christian 54-32 at Hamilton Gymnasium. Senior Olivia Klein led the Cougars with 19 points and expressed the joy of achieving their season goal. The Cougars finished the season with an impressive 26-2 record, having navigated through a competitive field including notable victories over teams like Strasburg and Colorado Springs Christian. Coach Jason Conrad praised the senior players for their determination and hard work throughout their high school careers.
