2025 Canfield Fair Draws Over 280,000 Attendees with Record Turnout

The 2025 Canfield Fair experienced a significant boost in attendance, drawing 284,191 visitors, which is an increase of over 15,000 from the previous year and more than 10,000 compared to 2024, with Sunday's attendance reaching its highest since 2018. Organizers attributed the surge to cooler, comfortable weather and are already planning improvements for the 2026 event scheduled for September 2-7. The fair featured numerous activities including milking parlor demonstrations, antique equipment displays, spinning demonstrations, model train exhibits, and junior fair auctions, attracting a diverse crowd. Meanwhile, other regional Labor Day events included the 57th annual Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival in Big Rapids, which showcased classic cars, motorcycles, and vendors, and the upcoming Hardin County Fair in Kenton, honoring Dennis Hinton for his longstanding contributions and preparing for its opening with various entries and ceremonies. These events collectively highlight a vibrant festival season with strong community participation across multiple locations.
