Paramount+ Produces Eva LaRue Stalking Documentary

Eva LaRue, star of General Hospital and CSI: Miami, and her daughter endured 12 years of terror from a stalker before he was finally caught and sentenced to prison. The Paramount+ documentary "My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story," set to premiere in late 2025, chronicles their harrowing experience, including the emotional toll and life-threatening encounters. The stalker sent threatening letters signed as "Freddie Krueger" and even contacted LaRue's daughter's school, posing as her father. The FBI used genetic genealogy to identify and arrest James David Rogers, who was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison for stalking and threatening communications. LaRue hopes the documentary raises awareness about stalking, a global crisis affecting millions yearly, and prompts stronger protections and justice for victims. Executive producers praised LaRue's courage in confronting this trauma and providing hope to others living in fear.
