Mild Halloween Weekend, Frost in Midwest, 90s Southwest

Across much of the U.S., Halloween weekend will be largely dry and mild, with many areas running above seasonal normals into early November. The Desert Southwest, including the Coachella Valley, will remain under strong high pressure with clear skies, light winds and persistent heat — highs in the low‑ to mid‑90s — with only minor cooling possible late next week.
