Metallica's Kirk Hammett Unveils Limited-Edition Gibson Raven Acoustic Guitar

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has partnered with Gibson Custom to release the Kirk Hammett Raven, a limited-edition acoustic guitar inspired by Hammett's love of horror and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven." This model is a dark, artistic counterpart to the iconic Gibson Hummingbird, featuring a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and traditional scalloped Advanced X-bracing. The guitar boasts mother-of-pearl raven skull inlays on the headstock, a double pickguard, and a raven-themed tailpiece, reflecting Gibson's tradition of wildlife-inspired designs. Equipped with Grover Rotomatic tuners, TUSQ components, and an L.R. Baggs Element VTC +4 electronics system, the Raven offers excellence in tonal quality and stage readiness. Limited to only 100 pieces worldwide and priced at $4,999, each guitar is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, signed by Hammett, and includes a custom case and certificate of authenticity. The Raven is already highly collectible, with availability limited through Gibson's authorized dealers and secondary markets.
