Zipair to Start Tokyo–Orlando Nonstop Flights 2026

Zipair will launch the first-ever nonstop passenger service between Tokyo Narita and Orlando in early 2026, operating four charter round-trips on Feb. 23, Feb. 28, Mar. 5 and Mar. 10 aboard Boeing 787‑8 aircraft. The flights will feature special Disney experiences and position Orlando as a new Asia‑Pacific gateway. Officials say the temporary link is the first nonstop connection between Florida and Japan (and the broader Asia/Pacific region) and could pave the way for regular future service. Orlando International Airport handled about 57.2 million passengers in 2024 and has approved a roughly $6 billion multi‑year expansion through 2035 to add gates, baggage systems, parking, a vertiport and passenger-facing technology and amenities. Combined, the new charters and infrastructure investments reflect accelerating demand for travel to Florida destinations and stronger transpacific and domestic connectivity that could boost tourism and economic ties.
