Man charged with double murder in St Helens arson
Lee Owens, 46, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of murder and arson with intent to endanger life following a deadly fire at the home of Eric Greener, 77, and Sheila Jackson, 83, in St Helens, Merseyside. The couple died in the fire at their residence on South John Street on July 15. Owens has been remanded into custody and is set to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on July 26.
