EmpowerHER Connect Luncheon Unites Businesswomen Nationwide May 2025

Recent events across the country highlighted women's empowerment, leadership, and advocacy in various sectors. In Temecula, the My Sister’s Keeper Success Institute and Women in NAACP hosted a film screening and discussion to honor the historical contributions and resilience of Black women, particularly in military service, during Women's History Month. Meanwhile, Stanford's Gender, Equity and Justice Summit brought together students, activists, and mentors to address social justice issues such as reproductive rights and gender equity, especially in light of recent political moves to limit DEI initiatives. In Michigan, the Western Wayne County NAACP organized a luncheon and fireside chat focused on women's experiences in labor and unions, providing a platform for dialogue, networking, and support. These gatherings collectively fostered connection, education, and advocacy, emphasizing the ongoing fight for recognition, equality, and empowerment of women in diverse communities.
