Classiq, a quantum software development platform company, has expanded its Series C funding round with a significant investment from SoftBank Vision Fund 2, alongside Italy’s CDP Venture Capital. This latest funding, estimated between $10 million and $30 million, follows a rigorous technical evaluation by SoftBank's R&D team, which validated Classiq's ability to generate high-performance quantum circuits reducing computational costs on current hardware. The investment marks SoftBank’s renewed direct involvement in Israeli tech and its second major quantum computing investment of 2025, complementing its stake in quantum hardware through QuEra Computing. CDP Venture Capital’s participation aligns with Italy’s strategic goals to boost innovation and digital sovereignty through foundational technologies. The new capital will accelerate Classiq’s product development, global partnerships, and expansion across multiple industries including finance, automotive, telecommunications, energy, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals.
