Swarovski Celebrates 130 Years With Masters of Light Exhibition in Los Angeles

Swarovski's "Masters of Light" exhibition, celebrating the brand's 130th anniversary, has arrived in Los Angeles with a special Hollywood edition running until November 3, 2025. Curated by British fashion journalist Alexander Fury and designed by Swarovski's global creative director Giovanna Engelbert, the immersive exhibit honors the company's deep cultural influence on film, music, and fashion, showcasing 41 iconic outfits including Marilyn Monroe’s famous "Happy Birthday" gown. The exhibition is organized into nine thematic chambers such as Silver Screen Style, Hollywood Idol, and Pop Icons, featuring ensembles worn by legends like Beyoncé, Madonna, and Tina Turner, alongside crystal figurines from major film franchises. Swarovski CEO Alexis Nasard emphasized the metaphorical and literal mastery of light that defines the brand’s craftsmanship and the joy it aims to bring to visitors. This Hollywood installment continues Swarovski's global tour, previously displayed in cities like Shanghai, Milan, and Seoul, and highlights its role in shaping visual spectacle and pop culture. Proceeds from the exhibition support the charity Baby2Baby, linking the celebration of glamour with philanthropy.
