Teen Deaths in Bank Holiday, Maine ATV Crashes Confirmed

A teenage driver in his late teens died after a single-vehicle crash in Deerpark, Lixnaw, Co Kerry, and was airlifted to Cork University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Gardaí are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses or dash-cam footage from the area on the date of the crash. Separately, a 15-year-old boy from Bangor, Maine, died in an ATV accident on the Cross Road trail in Presque Isle when his 2007 Yamaha Grizzly rolled over and struck him. Despite emergency responders' CPR efforts, the teen, who was wearing a helmet, could not be revived. Authorities in Maine are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
