The album, comprising nine tracks, focuses on themes of environmental destruction and the consequences of accelerating technology, reflecting Silberman's growing concern about the planet's future. Recorded primarily in Silberman's home studio in upstate New York, the album was inspired by his experiences walking through vast fields, which evoked a sense of wandering an abandoned planet. The lead single 'Carnage' highlights a subtle yet pervasive violence born of convenience, where innocent creatures suffer unnoticed as their habitats are destroyed. Silberman described the album's lyrical approach as more candid and urgent, addressing unsettling present-day realities and surreal future possibilities without mincing words. This release follows the 2021 album 'Green to Gold' and includes songs that reckon with humanity's passive environmental harm.
