Kanye West Sues Dentist Over Drug Allegations

Kanye West (Ye) and his wife Bianca Censori have initiated legal action against Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, alleging medical malpractice, negligence, fraud, and reckless administration of controlled substances during cosmetic dental treatments in 2024-2025. They accuse Connelly of supplying West with excessive nitrous oxide and propofol, including delivering industrial-sized tanks to his home and instructing unsupervised use, which allegedly caused addiction, neurological and psychological harm, and marital strain. The lawsuit further alleges improper billing, abandonment of care, and provision of sedatives for non-medical purposes, with Censori both witnessing and being affected by the alleged misconduct. West’s legal team states that the incidents required urgent medical intervention. Dr. Connelly has denied the allegations, calling related claims from West’s former chief of staff 'intentionally misleading.' The couple is seeking damages for injuries, emotional trauma, financial losses, and loss of consortium.
