Three Fires Cause Property Damage, No Injuries

Three separate fires this week caused significant property damage but no reported injuries. On I‑15 near Downey, Idaho, a 75‑year‑old man escaped unharmed after his yellow-and-red RV was destroyed by fire; cleanup blocked the roadway for about four hours and the Idaho State Police are investigating. At Vijayawada’s Gannavaram Airport, a short circuit in a customs cabin gutted luggage, software boxes and an air conditioner before airport fire crews extinguished the blaze; airport officials reported no injuries and police said no case has been filed. In the Phoenix area, an early-morning fire at an RV storage facility near El Mirage and Indian School roads sent a large plume of black smoke and damaged at least 15 RVs and facility awnings; Avondale firefighters contained the blaze and its cause remains under investigation.
