Outlander’s Sam Heughan Narrates Scottish Wildcat Extinction Documentary

Sam Heughan surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with a bold buzz cut while promoting the eighth and final season of Starz's "Outlander," set to air in 2026. Alongside co-stars and producers, Heughan reflected on Jamie Fraser's evolving character, describing him as more fragile and determined to avoid losing Claire again. Caitríona Balfe, who plays Claire Fraser, sent a heartfelt video message to fans, while the panel also revealed a teaser for an "Outlander" prequel, "Blood of My Blood," premiering in August 2025. Following the series, Heughan is expanding his career by narrating the upcoming documentary "Clinging By A Claw," which highlights the endangered Scottish wildcat and conservation efforts, and will be released in autumn 2025. Heughan also plans to appear in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of "Macbeth" later this year.
