The HBO Max series "And Just Like That...," a sequel to the iconic "Sex and the City," will conclude after its third season with a two-part finale airing on August 14. Showrunner Michael Patrick King and star Sarah Jessica Parker decided to end the series during the writing of the final episodes, aiming to preserve the enjoyment of the season without the weight of the word 'final.' The show has faced critical backlash this season, particularly concerning character developments and storylines, although recent episodes have recaptured elements of the original series' charm through the characters' friendships. Notably, the series revived three of the original four main characters, minus Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones, who only appeared offscreen via text.
