Two Arrested on Multiple Attempted Murder Charges in Hickory Shooting

Two individuals, Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20, and Kylee Latod Simpson, 18, have been charged with multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder following a shooting incident in Hickory, North Carolina, early Sunday morning. The police reported that shots were fired into a crowd after a physical altercation occurred at a parking lot on Catawba Valley Boulevard. No injuries were reported, and officers quickly located the suspects' vehicle, leading to their arrest shortly after the incident. Both suspects face seven counts of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and other firearm-related charges. They are currently being held on a $100,000 bond and are awaiting their first court appearances. Evidence collected at the scene included spent bullet casings and handguns, while three victims have been identified but not injured in the shooting.
