Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff have officially launched Real American Freestyle Wrestling, a new league emphasizing unscripted, amateur-style collegiate and Olympic-level wrestling blended with sports entertainment storytelling. Acclaimed coach Israel 'Izzy' Martinez will serve as COO, with high-profile athletes like Ben Askren and Kennedy Blades already enlisted. The league's first event is scheduled for August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio. Financial support comes from Left Lane Capital and Cassius, with Hogan’s Real American Beer as the title sponsor, and official partnerships with USA Wrestling and NCAA will enable both collegiate and professional athletes to compete for prize money. The founders aim to create a new professional platform for elite wrestlers while seeking a broadcast media partner.
