Two Riders Killed in Oulton Park Supersport Crash

A catastrophic 11-bike crash on the opening lap of the British Supersport Championship race at Oulton Park resulted in the deaths of Owen Jenner, a 21-year-old British racer, and Shane Richardson, a 29-year-old New Zealander and father of two. The crash, which was broadcast live, began at the first corner when a rider lost control, causing a chain reaction. Richardson died from severe chest injuries en route to hospital, while Jenner succumbed to a head injury at the scene.
