AQAP Leader Calls for Attacks on US, Jews, Firms

Sa’ad bin Atef al-Awlaki, leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), has released a propaganda video titled 'Inciting the Believers,' calling on American Muslims to assassinate President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, tech billionaire Elon Musk, and to attack their families. Al-Awlaki also urged violence against Jews in the U.S. and Europe, as well as American companies such as Microsoft and Tesla, citing U.S. support for Israel in Gaza as justification. He encouraged lone-wolf attacks with 'no red lines' and praised previous antisemitic attacks and assassination attempts on Trump. Al-Awlaki, wanted by the U.S. with a $6 million bounty, has led AQAP since March 2024. The group, based in Yemen, remains a highly active and dangerous al-Qaeda affiliate. U.S. authorities have condemned the threats, emphasizing the ongoing risk posed by AQAP.
