Apple to Overhaul iOS, iPadOS, macOS at WWDC 2025

Apple is preparing major software updates for iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, emphasizing a unified design inspired by visionOS, featuring curved menus, circular buttons, and increased translucency. iPadOS 19 will reportedly debut a Mac-like menu bar when paired with a Magic Keyboard and introduce 'Stage Manager 2.0' for improved multitasking, aligning the iPad experience more closely with the Mac. iOS 19 is expected to bring enhanced external display support for iPhones with USB-C, enabling limited multitasking features similar to Stage Manager on iPad. The update will discontinue support for older models such as the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, and will further restrict Apple Intelligence features to recent Pro devices.
