Lionsgate Announces 'The Housemaid' December 19 Release

The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig and based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel, is a psychological thriller due in theaters via Lionsgate on December 19, 2025. Sydney Sweeney stars as Millie, a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Winchester family played by Amanda Seyfried (Nina) and Brandon Sklenar (Andrew); Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins also co-star. The screenplay was written by Rebecca Sonnenshine. Producers Todd Lieberman and Laura Fischer are attached, and Sweeney, Seyfried and McFadden serve as executive producers.
