Oilers Win 3-2 OT Over Blackhawks with Bouchard's Goal
Evan Bouchard scored 2:43 into overtime on his own rebound to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at Rogers Place. Connor McDavid had three assists and Jack Roslovic scored on a late second-period power play as Leon Draisaitl added a goal and an assist. Draisaitl’s goal extended his points streak against Chicago to 19 games and he is in the midst of an eight-game overall points streak. Stuart Skinner made 27 saves, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins played his 972nd game to pass Ryan Smyth for the second-most in franchise history, and Edmonton improved to 6-4-3, winning three of its last four games. For Chicago, Tyler Bertuzzi and André Burakovsky scored, Spencer Knight made 27 saves, and Connor Bedard extended his point streak to four games.
