The Bold Beautiful Moves Filming From Television City Los Angeles

After nearly 38 years and over 9,600 episodes filmed at Television City, the CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful is relocating its production to Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Los Angeles, beginning August 19 following its summer hiatus. This move is prompted by a multi-year, billion-dollar renovation and expansion project at Television City, which will render the studio a construction zone for approximately three years. The relocation ensures the show's production remains in the heart of Hollywood, supporting ongoing efforts to keep entertainment industry jobs in California. The Bold and the Beautiful's lease at Television City expired this year, while its sister soap, The Young and the Restless, remains the last CBS show filming there with a lease extending several more years. The show was recently renewed through the 2027-28 season, underscoring its continuing success amid the transition. Sunset Las Palmas Studios is part of the Sunset Studios complex owned by Hudson Pacific Properties, providing a nearby and suitable new home for the long-running soap.
