USPS Plans 2026 Commemorative Stamps Honoring Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced it will release two commemorative stamps honoring Muhammad Ali in 2026. Ali, a three-time World Heavyweight Champion and humanitarian, is celebrated not only for his boxing achievements but also for his activism and contributions to humanity. The stamps, designed by USPS art director Antonio Alcalá, feature a 1974 Associated Press photograph of Ali in his signature boxing stance, with two different layout designs and font colors. The Muhammad Ali Center plans to host a dedication ceremony to mark the stamp's release. These stamps are part of a broader USPS initiative to honor diverse figures and significant anniversaries, including the 250th anniversary of the United States and other cultural tributes. Ali's legacy is recognized as timeless, highlighting his courage, compassion, and humanitarian values.
