Aston Martin Unveils Flagship 717-HP DBX S SUV

Aston Martin has launched the DBX S, its most powerful and fastest non-electrified SUV, featuring a 717bhp twin-turbo V8 engine—20bhp more than the DBX707—using turbocharger technology from the Valhalla supercar. The DBX S maintains a 0-62mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193mph, but shaves 0.3 seconds off the 0-124mph sprint, with a sharper transmission, more aggressive exhaust, and a 4% quicker steering ratio improving dynamics. Weight-saving options such as a carbon fiber roof and magnesium wheels reduce total weight by up to 47kg (104 pounds). The SUV also receives significant cosmetic updates, including a reworked grille, new bumpers, vertical quad exhaust tips, and interior enhancements like 'S' badging. Positioned as the new flagship, the DBX S competes with the Lamborghini Urus SE, Ferrari Purosangue, and Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Pricing starts above £210,000, with orders now open.
