Parolee Registered Sex Offender Arrested for Two Alleged Sexual Assaults in Temecula

Jacob Paulsen, a 30-year-old Perris man on parole for sexual assault and an active sex registrant, was arrested in Temecula for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile and an adult in two separate incidents less than two hours apart. Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Southwest Station responded to reports of the assaults, which occurred in the 40000 block of Winchester Road and the 20000 block of Ynez Road. Paulsen was booked on suspicion of lewd acts with a minor, sexual battery, indecent exposure, and parole violation, with bail set at $500,000 following a bail enhancement. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and have urged anyone with information to contact Corporal K. Au or the sheriff’s dispatch. The investigation remains active as law enforcement seeks further information to identify other potential victims. Paulsen remains in custody at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
