Brewers Acquire Miller, Montgomery in Deadline Deal

The Milwaukee Brewers acquired right-handed reliever Shelby Miller and left-handed pitcher Jordan Montgomery from the Arizona Diamondbacks just before the MLB trade deadline, giving up a player to be named later or cash. Miller, sidelined with an elbow injury since early July, is expected to bolster the Brewers' bullpen upon his return, having posted a 1.98 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 10 saves in 37 appearances this season.
