United Adds Denver-Rome Route, Ends Tenerife Flight
United Airlines will expand its international network from Denver International Airport by launching its first-ever nonstop Denver-Rome flight, operating daily through September 24, 2025. Additionally, United will introduce new routes from Denver to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Mexico City, Mexico, starting October 26, 2025. The Mexico City route will function as a winter seasonal service, while Punta Cana will be served nearly year-round. These changes increase United's international destinations from Denver to 22, the highest in the airline's history at the airport. Meanwhile, United will discontinue its underperforming Newark-Tenerife, Spain service on May 2, 2025. The airline continues to hold the most extensive U.S. carrier network to Spain, serving major cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Malaga, and Palma de Mallorca.
