15-Year-Old Girl Killed, 2 Injured in Aurora Fire Station Shooting
A shooting occurred early Sunday morning near Aurora Fire Rescue Station 2, located at 12600 East Hoffman Boulevard, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old girl and injuries to two others. Firefighters returning from a call found the teenage girl and a 20-year-old woman shot and provided immediate medical care before transporting them to the hospital; the girl later died, while the woman sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive. A third victim, an unidentified juvenile, was found later with a graze wound and is also expected to survive. Police have not identified any suspects or made arrests, and they believe the shooting was an isolated incident. The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office will identify the deceased teenager, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
