Textron Unveils Multi-Mission Beechcraft King Air at 2025 Paris Air Show

Textron Aviation will debut its new multi-mission Beechcraft King Air demonstration aircraft at the 2025 Paris Air Show, marking its European introduction. The aircraft is designed for versatility across special missions including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, air ambulance, and freight operations, featuring extended range fuel tanks, a factory-installed extended utility nose for sensors, wing hardpoints, and a cargo door. Powered by PT6A-67A engines with dual oil coolers, the King Air offers strong performance in hot/high airfield conditions along with impressive climb and cruising speeds. Interior mission capabilities include NVIS-compatible cockpits, medevac stretchers, and specialized mission seating, reinforcing the aircraft's adaptability for government, military, and commercial customers. With over 7,800 King Air turboprops delivered since 1964 and 66 million flight hours logged, the series maintains its reputation as the best-selling business turboprop family worldwide. Textron Aviation leverages its broad European presence, boasting more than 1,700 Cessna and Beechcraft turbine aircraft in the region, to strengthen its market position through this showcase.
