Penguins Add Mantha, Harvey-Pinard, Kemp in Signings
The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forwards Anthony Mantha and Rafael Harvey-Pinard to one-year contracts, and defenseman Phil Kemp to a two-year deal. Mantha, 30, agreed to a $2.5 million contract with up to $2 million in performance bonuses after a season with the Calgary Flames limited to 13 games and 7 points due to ACL surgery. He is a three-time 20-goal scorer with 303 points in 507 NHL games across four teams. Harvey-Pinard, 26, joined after playing one game for Montreal last season and has 31 points in 82 NHL games. Kemp, 26, has played one NHL game for Edmonton since his 2017 draft. These signings add veteran experience and depth as the Penguins prepare for the upcoming season.
