33rd Annual NADF Business Awards Celebrate Indigenous Leadership Thunder Bay

In 2025, Indigenous business leadership and entrepreneurship received significant recognition and celebration across Canada and Australia. The Canadian Council for Indigenous Business named Bouchier Indigenous Business of the Year, highlighting their contributions to Indigenous leadership and community impact. The Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF) held its 33rd Annual Business Awards in Thunder Bay, honoring six Indigenous business leaders for their achievements and community contributions, with proceeds supporting bursaries and community care initiatives for Indigenous students and events. In Australia, the Illawarra Indigenous Business Expo returned for its third year, showcasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses and fostering cultural connection, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
