Athletes Qualify for 2024 Olympics in Paris

Several American athletes have successfully qualified to represent the USA in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Brody Malone, a gymnast, overcame a knee injury to fulfill his dream of competing in the Olympics. Transgender and nonbinary runner Nikki Hiltz broke records and qualified for the U.S. Olympic team, dedicating the win to the LGBTQ community. Pole vaulter Katie Moon, a former gold medalist, secured her spot in the Olympics despite battling Achilles tendinosis. Maggie Malone Hardin qualified in javelin throwing, heading back to the Olympics for the third time. Swimmer Erika Connolly will compete in the women's 400-meter freestyle relay team after qualifying at the Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, making her second Olympic appearance.
