US Intelligence Director Announces End of Regime Change Strategy Under Trump

This approach led to securing ceasefires in conflicts such as the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and Israel's 12-day conflict with Iran, including U.S. military actions against Iranian nuclear sites. Gabbard criticized past policies as a costly and counterproductive cycle that resulted in trillions spent, countless lives lost, and increased security threats. Her assessment aligns with President Trump's own reflections on U.S. wars post-9/11, including troop withdrawals from Afghanistan and engagement with Syrian leadership. Nonetheless, she acknowledged ongoing fragile ceasefires and persistent regional challenges, particularly involving Iran.
