Third Arrest in Everett Home Invasion Murder

Authorities have arrested a third suspect, 24-year-old Keilani Rae Songcuan, in connection with the 2022 home invasion murder of Irah Sok in Everett, Washington. Investigators believe Songcuan and two accomplices, Kevin Thissel and Chris Johnson, targeted Sok's home as part of a series of violent crimes against Asian families across western Washington. During the robbery, Sok was fatally shot in front of her child, her husband was zip-tied, and thousands of dollars in luxury items were stolen. Thissel and Johnson were indicted on federal racketeering and other charges in August 2024 and remain in custody. Songcuan was arrested in Renton and faces charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping, burglary, robbery, and theft. The case is still under investigation, and authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
