Herbert Myers Charged After Knife Threats Against South Jersey Schools

Herbert L. Myers, a 42-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township, has been arrested after allegedly making threats against schools in Hamilton Township and brandishing a knife on an NJ Transit bus. Following a phone call to police about the threats, local schools implemented enhanced security measures, and authorities quickly identified Myers as a suspect. He was located on a bus in Vineland, where he threatened officers with a knife, prompting the evacuation of passengers and the shutdown of the surrounding area.
