Train Dreams Sets Global Netflix Premiere for November
Train Dreams, directed by Clint Bentley and co-written with Greg Kwedar, is a highly anticipated adaptation of Denis Johnson’s Pulitzer-nominated novella about a logger and railroad worker, Robert Grainier, navigating early 20th-century America. Joel Edgerton stars alongside Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy, with narration by Will Patton and a score by Bryce Dessner. Following widespread acclaim at its Sundance premiere, critics have praised Edgerton's performance and Bentley's direction, positioning the film as a major awards contender. Train Dreams is produced by the team behind the Oscar-nominated Sing Sing. The film will have a limited theatrical release on November 7, a global Netflix premiere on November 21, and will also screen at the Toronto International Film Festival. Its lyrical storytelling and evocative visuals have been especially noted by reviewers.
